OUTDOOR LOCATIONS:
Overcast - No problems (This is actually ideal conditions).
Sun & Clouds - No problems
Rain - We will have to reschedule if it's raining, unless there is an alternate indoor location.
High Winds - Depending on the type of session, we may need to reschedule.

INDOOR LOCATIONS:
Weather is not problem for indoor locations.

FOR INDIVIDUALS:
Be yourself and wear whatever makes you feel your best. Solid colors are preferable. However, it's best to avoid bright neon colors or bold patterns and logos that will make your clothes a distraction. It's a good idea to bring a few options including something casual, something more dressy, and team uniforms for sports shots. Feel free to send a picture of your options ahead of time for comments and suggestions.

FOR COUPLES & FAMILIES:
Whether casual or more formal, it's best if everyone is coordinated so the focus will be on the people and not the clothes. Pick two or three colors as the basis for everyone's outfit. avoid fine stripes or patterns as they do not photograph well.

ABSOLUTELY !! However, it's best to be minimalist with anything shiny that might reflect light and cause an unpleasant effect on the pictures. It's also best to avoid items like charms or pendants that may look awkward if misaligned or turned upside down.

It's entirely up to you. Be yourself.
If you normally wear makeup and are comfortable with how it makes you look, then feel free. If you do not normally wear makeup or just don't like the way it feels, then there is no need to wear it. It is helpful for covering up blemishes, but not mandatory.
It's best to avoid lip gloss, as that tends to make ugly reflections when we are using a flash.

Typically there will be only one photographer, but occasionally we have an assistant help out and take shots from different angles.

Sessions are primarily scheduled on the weekends, with occasional evenings during the week. The best lighting is in the morning or evening (dusk and dawn hours), but any time of day will work fine.

Just relax and be yourself, and we'll have some fun taking great pictures.

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring a parent, friend, or sibling along for moral support. However, distractions are not good during a photo shoot, so we suggest you bring only one person that can quietly watch from a distance. (Although, we may ask them for some assistance if they are willing.)

If you are not happy with the results, we will schedule another session. If you are still not happy after the 2nd session, we will refund your money. This is all clearly stated in our contract, so there is nothing to worry about.
